wow, I am surprised to see Alan didn't just swallow a bunch of sleeping
pills to end his miserable existence, from the shame of being slapped on the
butt like a little child from Linus, if you saw the email that thousands
read. :)

Basically Linus can do whatever he likes with his kernel.
Linux now has a lot of third party support, so a hacker like
Alan Cox does not really matter much.

really cared, but essential). tty is a mess. I doubt there are many people
with enough interest _and_ talent for that.

well, I always strive to make my email read feel personal. o(∩_∩)o
Anyhow, this is what makes Linux kernel greatest collaboration project ever
since internet. No one ,other than Linus himself, is too important to fail.
(Unlike citibank and AIG...)
