有两个问题：
1）我用 ln -s firefox/firefox /usr/bin/firefox
告诉我 too many level of links
然后我用全路径，就没问题了。
2）字体跟原来的同样的设置，但3.5显示有些模糊
请问你有没有这个问题？

The font in the firefox you tar zxvf out doesn't obey the local font
configuration. I think it is because they linked cairo in statically. (or
maybe carry own copy of cairo)
That is why your firefox 3.5 has imperfect font.
It doesn't matter to people using desktop though, because mozilla.org
version firefox uses basically the same configuration.

What distro are you using? My distro (Fedora Core) released their firefox
update packages like 2 weeks ago.

I just got ff3.5 crashed when making adobe flash full screen,
which made my decision to get back with ff3.0.I guess this maybe
be one of the reasons why ff is not ready for update under xubuntu9.04.
I don't want to spend extra time on that anymore, let xubuntu takes
care of this update thing.

add:
export LD_PRELOAD=/usr/lib/libGL.so.1
in the sh script for firefox fix this problem
