回到正题，是不是律师和是不是agent两码事，过了律师bar就算，没过就都不算，不管
你有没有jd还是任何degree
但是做patent prosecution而言，agent和attorney没区别

not entirely true. in some states for example Wisconsin, if you had jd
degree from UW-adison, then you have the privilege of degree to practice in
Wisconsin. No bar is required. |

在bank里做IT的，逢人就说自己是做金融的，在硅谷小公司给人打工的，逢人就说自己
是创业的，还不是多了去了。
postdoc还有自称是教授的呢。

unless you absolutely must.
A friend was working as a paralegal and his parents (Asian) told everyone
that their son was a lawyer. It didn't bother me. This friend eventually
got a JD and passed the bar.
Everyone is vain. In one way or another |

totally different things. the latter is an ethical violation that can get
him disbarred before he is admitted into the bar. |
