辈给指点指点吧，是应该保持自己就是最好的人选，一个缺点都没有呢，还是应该就自
己的实力说？
比如，有人问你的写作如何？ 我是大言不惭的说很不错呢，还是应该实事求是的说，
虽然文字没有那么优美，但是逻辑清楚，不是最优，也还不错呢？ |

in general you should not directly say your
weakness. you're like a salesman and should try to sell on your strength.
and your interview expects that. find evidence to show that your writing is
at least at par with your fellow students or better. if you are not
comfortable saying this, they will see you through.
anyway, being brutally honest may not serve your best interests. if hard
pressed you may admit some minor flaws like a taking a l |

发帖数: 188 | 7 找到常问问题，写出答案，做出修改，再找别人做mock interview，听取反馈意见再做
调整，如果找不到人的话，就对着镜子反复联系直到满意
不过话说回来，律所的面试问题一般不难，而且面试的人通常没有经过专业培训，所以
并不需要太过紧张 |

品质。在无关紧要的social场合，这可能对一部分人有用，但是在legal profession做
面试的时候，亚洲女生一定要注意在表现得personable的同时，表现出一定的
assertive, confident,甚至一点点aggressive。这是这个行业需要的traits，同时又
是亚洲人，特别是女生普遍缺乏的traits. 仅仅是讨巧让人喜欢并不够，大家虽然想要
一个容易共事的同事，也希望她／他是个能负责任，有担当的人 － 并不是说中国人不
这样，但是表现出来的样子通常会给人软弱，nerdy等等的误解。

跟我说我是一个soft-speaker，public presentation的时候挺吃亏的，只有在一起工
作一段时间才会发现我的assertive和incisive。 那这样在面试的时候怎么克服呢？

I was told our firm (GP with a patent group) typically offers one summer
associate position each year in our group. In a normal year, it was a pretty
clear cut as to how should be brought in for on-site interviews. This past
September, however, there were already 11 well-qualified candidates from one
law school alone. blah and blah. In the end, no offer was made, especially
with the economy showing signs of tanking then.
