After 8 weeks in law school, I find it intricately similar to my high school.
1. There are a lot of people in each section (class). 65 is the number for
my section in law school, 60 was for my high school.
2. In both law school and high school, I studied extremely hard. I never
thought I would study that hard again after high school. Wrong.
3. Students sit at the same positions in class everyday. This is not by

发帖数: 44 | 3 Funny you should mention this. I've also noticed law schools have lockers,
just like high schools in the US. Most law schools are cramped into a large
building complex, also similar to American high schools, at least public
high schools. Oh yeah and peer pressure, don't forget that one.

But there is at least one difference. In law school, you buy your books,
supplements, study your
materials, do your outlines, ..., all in a way that is advocated by your
professor. What you learn and
how you learn are very much determined by who you have as your professor.
I don't understand why law schools advocate such a culture, given that bar
exam after law school and
later legal practice are going to be irrelevant to your professors'
preferences.

much more important than passing the bar, which is the most uninspiring of
