标 题: 借人气问个personal injury的问题

我在溜冰场被别人的冰刀踩伤手指, 去了医院急症缝了8针, 溜冰场的工作人员原来说
他们有保险, 我的医疗费他们会全包, 登记了事故, 还给了我他们母公司的联系电话.
后来我打电话去联系医疗费的事情, 对方说不能给我保险公司的联系方式. 这种情况我
该怎么办. 溜冰场对我的受伤有责任么? 我问了几个律师估计案子太小, 还说很难
prove溜冰场的有责任.
但是我在他们的场地上受伤, 他们不管怎么样都是有责任的把?

suggests the skating rink did something wrong. The accident happened in its
facility, but this in itself does not make the skating rink liable. Skating
is an inherenlty risky sport. Your injury seems to be one that is
forseeable. The skating rink has a good assumption of risk defense.
What about the guy who caused your injury? Was he/she drunk? Doing something
extraordinarily risky? Maybe you have a claim against the skating r | n*******2
发帖数: 603 | 3 do u know how much I can sue? I haven't found a lawyer who wants to accept
my case. I am not sure if I am able to do it myself to the court. If I sue
them in the small claims court, in NY it's only $5000 max.
Do you think a perm scar on the finger is under $5000 or over ?

发帖数: 38 | 4 I am no expert on damages. You can probably recover your medical expense.
The scar probably should be compensated as well. But remember law does not
generally taken into account someone's particular vulnerability. It may mean
a great deal to you, but if it is not a big deal for a "reasonable person",
you are only compensated to the extent a reasonable person would find
appropriate. |
