不要买鱼证,他说他的鱼证可以COVER两个人,于是我就去了, 结果后来被警察抓了, 说是
FISHING WITHOUT LICENSE, 一个证只能一个人用, 我根他说我们以为一个证可以COVER两
个人, 然后他说只要上庭就可以了. 法官会DISMISS掉你的. 然后我当天晚上就去买了鱼
证. 以为不会有什么事情, 因为那个警察也说你这是小CASE, 不会对你有任何影响.
结果今天上庭的时候, 被判了 MISDEMINOR, 很是郁闷, 因为我的确不知道要买鱼证. 不
知道大家有什么建议? 这个MISDEMINOR也算是CRIME吧,这样的话以后找工作,回国签证会
不会都受到很大影响啊. 难过死了. 请教各位现在该怎么做, 可以再上诉吗? | c**i

You should not listen to a police officer for legal advice; that is a lawyer's
job. And I don't know why you come here, instead of talkng to a lawyer (every
state has different laws and we have no idea where you are). And it may very
well be too late after a conviction. A layperson such as you does not know a
thing to appeal from. Besides, it is a simple matter with no dispute in fact

you have to find areliable lawyer first, which is not an easy task. And you
don't jave much time to appeal--I don't know how many days you have.

至. 我还没有APPEAL, 先找律师吧. 请教你对找律师有什么建议, 本人理科出身, 对于法
律一窍不通. 唉, 但是不管怎么样我都要试一试. 就算失败了也不后悔.

convicted of the crime and the case is closed. After the case is closed it is
very very difficute to overturn the ruling. A conviction of crime, even though
as minor as "misdemeanor", will be detrimental to your job search and
immigration status. You will have to carry this record for a life time and
answer "yes" to questions like "Have you ever been charged, arrested or

service. And talk to more than one lawyers if it's possible. The first time
consultation is usally free. Ask them about the prospects of your case.
Compare their service and fees. Seclect the most reliable one.

找了个律师, 他说要收350刀.
我打电话解释的时候他也很耐心, 也给我详细的解释了一下我该怎么办. 下个星期二去
MEET他. 我还有8天的时间可以去APPEAL.本来没想过会有这么大的问题的, 被那个警察害
了, 上庭的时候没有认真准备. SIGH.

lawyer is hard, especially you have only a few days. I have the troubles in
Taiwan nd US, so I do the lawyersing myself now. You trust yourself nost.
I have read the TheOnion's reply. It is too late, isn't it? Before I shoulder
lawyering, I was sued. I thought it was rificulous, talked to a lawyer and did
not agree with his fee regime, went to court on my own, and got a short
shrift, losing a minor civil case when the
