University of Minnesota(rank 19)
University of Illinois(rank 25)
University of Wisconsin(rank 31)
Boston University(rank 28)
兴趣是IP，但是也不一定局限于IP。
UIUC给我每年四千的奖学金，看上去还
是有点诱惑的。不过我在UIUC呆了快四年，
这里比较BORING，而且是农村，担心就业
跟找INTERN。
U of Minnesota在城市，可是非常非常
冷，毕业生的平均起薪有点低(9万),
但是她的JD/MBA program只要三年半,
有点心动。
U of Boston太贵，但是IP排名还可以。
我个人有点倾向Minnesota跟UIUC。想
听听各位大虾的意见再做决定。

看来大家都觉得BOSTON好。
我也觉得大城市找工作好，可是BOSTON实在太贵，学费+生活费
比我在UIUC/Minnesota念每年多了差不多$15k, 而且排名还偏后，
所以我非常犹豫。另一点是我BF(fiance)现在在一个比较偏僻的
州工作。他在那个公司(FORTUNE 500)的前景比较好，很有希望
在几年内升到中层MANAGER，也有机会relocate到DC附近。我想
毕业后是要和他在一起的，所以要么去那个偏僻的州工作，
要么去DC，这样即使我上BU，留在BOSTON工作的机会也非常非
常小。不知道在这样的情况下是不是还值得多花那么多钱上BU
呢？哎，如果是加州的学校我就不会犹豫了。这几个学校的
LOCATION都太冷了。:P

发帖数: 8 | 5 I would choose the highest in ranking and the cheapest. Location is important,
but spending less money is also important, maybe more important. Soon you will
find that having a large loan will add a lot pressure to your already
stressful law school life. If you do well, that's ok but in case you don't do
that well, you will at least find some comfort if you are not spending a huge
amount of money on this law school thing.

deficiency in ranking. fordham graduates in nyc have an easier time finding
jobs than many 20 to 30 ranked schools, just because it's in nyc.
in addition, do not just think of a location as a spot, but as a radius. BU
has quite some influence in the new england area, including nyc, and u minn or
u illinois has influence in the chicago area (which is a very big legal
market, much bigger than the city of boston).
