Dear friends,
Kentucky Chinese American Association (KYCAA) has invited officials from the
Chinese Embassy to Lexington, KY to attend the Chinese New Year Celebration
in the
evening of Jan. 26th. The officials will process Chinese passport renewal
and travel
document applications in the afternoon of Jan. 27th, 2013 (Sunday) in
Lexington.
Chinese expats in Kentucky and surrounding states are welcome to come over
and use the
service, so you don't have to make a long trip to Washington, DC. Details
are listed as
follows:
1. Time: 3:00-5:00 pm, Jan. 27, 2013.
2. Location: Marriott Courtyard Keeneland/Airport in Lexington. Address:
3100 Wall
Street, Lexington, KY 40513.
3. To schedule an appointment, please send email to k*****[email protected] with

4. This service will be FREE to KYCAA members and Chinese students at the
University
of Kentucky (UK). UK students need to show student IDs to receive the
service free of
charge. Others will need to pay a $25/person service charge to KYCAA. On-
site
payment, either in cash or by check, will be accepted.
5. If you want to stay at the Courtyard, you can get the special rate of $
109.99/night by
referencing "BIRTLEY" when making room reservation. The hotel’s phone
