Warning that presumptive Republican nominee Donald Trump is an "urgent
threat to our rights and to our country," Hillary Clinton on Thursday
sounded a similar note to the one expressed by liberal firebrand Sen.
Elizabeth Warren earlier this week.
"Two years ago Donald Trump personally signed a contract with a union-
busting firm to break up Unite Here’s organizing campaign at his hotel in
Las Vegas," Clinton said at the UFCW conference in the city where workers at
Trump's hotel voted to unionize. "I was proud to join those workers on the
picket line last fall, and I’m even prouder because they overcame Trump’s
intimidation campaign and were officially certified as a union this year.”
