. I have iPhone, iPad, Motorola xoom, 3 laptop (Thinkpads) as well as 3
desktops with sandybridge i7 two of which are all-in-one touch-screen. I
need desktops because the work I do is EXTREMELY important, like teaching
college kids like you so to educate them about true technology.

When it comes down to calculation (big data array modeling, inverse
calculation...), desktop has its edge. The CPU/GPU can sustain much higher
temperature than laptop if long time calculation is in process and thus the
speed of outcome.

@5:27 Looks like someone's just completed a course on matrix algebra. :)
With the exception of the graphics card, this seems to be a great
configuration. If you need a desktop, go for it- it's a great deal.
