Job Description
Programmer Analyst:
Overview of the Position
The individual selected will join the Information Services Application
Development team for development of corporate computerized business systems
using a personal computer networked system.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Codes and maintains business application programs from user instructions or
formal functional specifications. Develops and supports large-scale batch or
high-volume on-line transaction applications in a PC network environment.
Specifies ongoing operational requirements and provides documentation and
final implementation of programs and systems on a timely basis.
Supports computer processing on local area network platforms.
Develop programs using a multilingual infrastructure
Develops and supports user interfaces, Internet applications, and database-
oriented applications. Programs in business-oriented languages such as HTML,
ASP.Net, VB.Net, Microsoft SQL, Vbscript, Java Script, and systems-oriented
languages.
Develop reports using Microsoft Reporting Services
Job Requirements
Requirements:
Normal work hours are 7:30pm - 4:00pm but will work occasionally on other
shifts, or some weekends when implementing computer systems.
4 year Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science or similar experience
with computers.
3-5 years of experience doing programming
Must have knowledge in computer programming using VB.Net, ASP.Net, MS SQL or
above. Other languages such as HTML, Vbscript, Java Script, ASP, Java
andVBA are desirable.
Knowledgeable in the use of Microsoft Operating Systems
Knowledgeable in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access and
Microsoft Outlook/ Exchange.
