武汉大学面向海内外公开招聘
病毒学国家重点实验室主任的启事
武汉大学是国家教育部直属重点综合性大学，是国家“985工程 ”和“211工程 ”重点
建设高校。病毒学国家重点实验室于2004年批准立项建设，是我国开展病毒学基础理论
与应用基础研究、培养病毒学高层次人才、促进病毒学及其相关领域国际国内科研合作
与学术交流的重要基地，在病毒遗传变异与分子流行病学、病毒与细胞相互作用的分子
机理、病毒的免疫与致病机制和病毒病的防治基础研究等方面取得了一批高水平、原创
性的研究成果。为进一步提高科研水平与学术地位，加快重点实验室和世界一流大学的
建设步伐，经研究，现面向海内外公开招聘病毒学国家重点实验室主任，热忱欢迎海内
外专家学者前来应聘。现将有关事项公告如下：
一、任职条件
1、具有良好的个人品质、敬业精神、创新意识和团队协作精神，治学严谨、学风正派；
2、在病毒学国家重点实验室所涉及的主要研究方向，具有较高的学术造诣和国内外知
名度；
3、在实验室的建设与管理方面，对病毒学领域相关学科的建设具有战略性构想和创新
性思维，熟悉了解高等教育规律和国家科技创新发展趋势，有较强的团结协调精神和组
织领导能力，能够带领本学科走跨越式发展道路、建设世界一流实验室。
4、身心健康，年龄一般不超过55周岁（1962年1月1日以后出生），具有特别学术影响
力和学术成就者年龄可适当放宽；
5、任职期间在武汉大学全职工作。
二、工作目标（具体目标事项以签署的协议为准）
1、根据国家发展战略需求，组织制订实验室未来五年的发展规划并全面负责建设和组
织实施;
2、推进学科建设，提升实验室的综合科研实力，使学科学术水平有较明显的提高；
3、引进和培养一批高层次人才及中青年骨干教师，建设一支在国内外有较大影响力的
高水平科研教学团队；
4、积极组织承担国家(含国际合作)重大、重点科技项目，取得一批具有国际先进
水平的标志性科技成果，同时积极推进实验室研究成果转化；
5、促进实验室各研究领域的发展和多学科的交叉融合，加强实验室的国际交流与
合作；
6、建立科学有效的实验室管理模式，认真履行管理职责，保障实验室的正常运行。
三、聘任期限与待遇
1、聘任期为5年，聘用期满后，根据工作业绩，经双方协商后可以续聘为实验室主任或
长聘为相关学科的高层次人才。
2、学校根据受聘人的条件和岗位要求，提供合适的年薪制薪酬福利待遇，具体面议。
四、应聘程序及时间
（一）应聘者需填写《武汉大学公开招聘自荐表》（见附件1）（需本人亲笔签名并承
诺对材料的真实性负责），并提供一下材料：
1、个人学习工作简历；
2、反映本人学术水平的科研和管理工作业绩材料，列出近五年来有代表性的著作、论
文、科研项目、获奖成果等清单；
3、五篇代表性学术论文（或论著）复印件；
4、学位、专业技术职务及获奖证书复印件；
5、对实验室的管理设想和预期目标；
6、需要学校提供的工作、生活条件及其他需要说明的情况。
（二）上述材料请于2016年6月30日前通过电子邮件、特快专递或其他方式寄送招聘工

（三）武汉大学将根据应聘人员情况，组织专家审核材料，择优确定应聘对象，通过组
织公开答辩或会议讨论等方式确定候选人名单，经校党委常委会研究通过后，报主管部
门审批，确定聘任人选，双方签订聘任合同。

Director of the State Key Laboratory of Virology-Wuhan University: Wuhan,
China
Wuhan University (WHU) is a comprehensive and key national university
directly under the administration of the Ministry of Education. It is also
one of the "211 Project" and "985 Project" universities with full support in
the construction and development from the central and local government of
China. The State Key Laboratory of Virology (SKLV) was established in 2004
and jointly supported by WHU and the Wuhan Institute of Virology of the
Chinese Academy of Sciences. It serves as an important base to conduct
fundamental and applied research on virology, cultivate high-level talents
in the field, and promote interdisplinary study and scientific cooperation
on virology and related fields at home and abroad. The SKLV has generated a
number of high-impact, original research results on the viral genetic
mutation and molecular epidemiology, molecular mechanisms of viral infection
into host cells, immune response to viral infection, as well as the
prevention on acute or chronic viral infectious diseases.
We are seeking a visionary leader with strong, proven experience at senior
management level to develop and promote the SKLV at WHU.
Qualifications
1. Demonstrate the highest integrity and professional ethics with strong
innovation and team spirit
2. Achieved distinguished academic accomplishments with great influential
impacts in main research areas of the SKLV
3. Applicants should have: strategic ambitions for developing virology
and the related discipline; knowledge of the trends in higher education and
scientific innovations; experience in academic and administrative leadership
and management at senior level; capability to promote the sustainable
development of the SKLV into a world-class institute
4. Age 55 and under (born after 1/1/1962) with rare exceptions to those
who have made major scientific and technological achievements or important
academic achievements
5. Must work full-time on site
Responsibilities
1. Set and implement strategic development plans in line with national
needs for the next five years
2. Promote discipline construction and significantly raise the overall
research level
3. Build a strong faculty team with global influence by recruiting or
training high-level talented researchers and young fellows
4. Lead key projects or major research programs by the Ministry of
Science and Technology, National Natural Science Foundation of China and
other national bodies, or major research projects of international
collaboration. Achieve major scientific breakthrough and advance
translational research
5. Develop and nurture internal and external collaborative research
relationships across multiple disciplines
6. Initiate and oversee management and administration of the SKLV
Compensation
The initial contract is for 5 years. Extension of the contract is based on
the work performance of the candidate. Salary, working conditions, start-up
funds and other compensation will be negotiated during the in-person
interviews.
