Position: Senior Content Marketing Manager
Location: Beijing, China
Job Description:
We are seeking a talented, self-directed Content Marketing Manager for
driving cloud computing adaption in Enterprise, Startups, and Developer
communities’ area in China. This is aunique opportunity to play a key role
in an exciting, industry-leading technology business.
The Content Marketing Manager is a not only technical but also strategic
position. China Enterprise, Startups, Developer communities is still
conservative to adapt the new technology; the position will be a key driver
who can change the legacy and traditional Enterprise, Startups, Developer
communities IT environment. It means the position needs to have ability to
communicate with both IT professionals and business executives (CEO/CIO/CMO)
in Enterprise, Startups, Developer communities and our Partners (SIs/ISVs/
Consulting firm). Inaddition, need to have Legacy Enterprise, Startups,
Developer communities IT architecture and modern Web / OSS based technology.
Since the pace of innovation of cloud computing is so quick, the person
should be willing tocatch up new technology and use-cases proactively.
If you are the successful candidate, you should have an established
reputationwithin the region for significant technical achievement, superior
presentation skills, effective and visible community participation, and a
strong command of online and social networking tools. The adoption of cloud
technologies, as well as broad customer education and satisfaction with us,
is the primary goals ofthe position.
Knowledge about China IT eco-system and typical behavior of CxO in China
Enterprise, Startups, and Developer communities will help you to accelerate
thepace of cloud adaption in China.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Key responsibilities: Let IT CxOs and IT professionals in Enterprise,
Startups, Developer communities make decision to use our Cloud technology
for their business transformation. It will be delivered by presentation @
appropriate conferences, engaging with them, making vision demos, and
building the community of key influencers.
Build and strengthen the influencers’ community to generate businesses in
the Enterprise, Startups, and Developer communities.
Co-work with key person in appropriate partners to make new IT trend.
Work closely with the service teams, sales/business development, PR, other
Content Marketing Managers, and other marketing managers to ensure the our
message is reaching a broad audience of our Partners via events, seminars,
webinars and other thought leadership activities.
Build an effective evangelism content plan to drive awareness, adoption, and
usage of the cloud platform.
Travel, as necessary to execute marketing initiatives.
Basic Qualifications:
Passion to revolutionize the legacy Enterprise, Startups, Developer
communities in China
10+ years of relevant work experience in ICT Vendors (ISV, H/W vendor,
Service provider, SIs) as a marketing, consultant, PM. Or, 10+ years of
relevant work experience in Enterprise, Startups, Developer communities
companies as a BD, IT Managers, Executives.
Great presentation and demo skill.
Relationship with key person in Enterprise, Startups, Developer communities
and major SIs / ISVs
Understanding the Enterprise, Startups, Developer communities IT ecosystem
in China
Experience in actual IT projects.
English skill, for reading and writing e-mails and documents, and having
conference call with counterpart in HQ
Superior oral and written communication skills with an innate attention to
detail.
Proven success managing time and juggling multiple projects in a high growth
environment where priorities shift fast.
Deep experience in building concise marketing content (Vision Demos, PPT,
whitepaper, datasheet, web content, Youku and online videos) – examples
required for consideration of position.
Ability to present ideas to various levels of an organization to gain
support for initiatives.
The demonstrated ability to work independently and autonomously.
Preferred Qualifications:
MBA preferred.
Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, technical, or relevant field of
study.
Experience as executives in Enterprise, Startups, Developer communities
companies or IT vendors.
Experience in community building and management.
Experience working in a fast-paced and highly cross-functional organization.
Knowledge of compliance and regulations in Enterprise, Startups, Developer
communities.
Experience working on cloud computing technologies/companies. |
