Cloud Deployment & Operations Engineer
Come join an exciting and fast-moving team in the fast growing area of the
home automation of the IoT world. We are looking for a highly motivated
individual who possesses deep engineering expertise to help design/operate/
enhance/troubleshoot a cloud platform that makes the connected home a
reality, who can demonstrate excellent communication skill (written and
verbal), who is flexible and works well in a group setting and who has a
self-motivated working style with attention to detail.
Responsibilities
◦ BA/BS or Master in IT or Computer Science
• 7+ years of experience in running large or medium-size cloud
system operation - planning / design / implementation / support
• Understand and experience with cloud-based infrastructure as a
service platform: AWS, Google Compute Engine, Azure, Rackspace, OpenStack,
etc…, Experience managing servers in production with AWS is preferred
• Expert understanding of Linux
• Familiar with IP Networking, Load Balancing, Server Clusters and
have a certain understanding of IT Security.
• Familiar with open source solutions such as nginx, Apache, Tomcat
, mysql, redis, keepalived, pacemaker, Hadoop, zookeeper etc. Have working
experience with some of the solutions
• Strong programming skills in two or more scripting languages (
shell, python, Perl, ruby).
Applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S.
Qualifications
1. Responsible for managing daily operation of servers in production with
AWS -configuration/maintenance/updates.
2. Responsible for the application deployment in a production environment
, monitoring performance and troubleshooting.
3. Responsible for safety warranty system, performance optimization and
capacity planning and other related work.
4. Responsible for formulating and standardizing operational process and
creating related specifications/documents.
5. Participate in the cloud platform design and testing work. Produce
related testing reports. Proactively seek better solutions to help build a
better cloud platform in order to enhance user experience. |
