MICE/leisure travels. We have a vacancy of tour operator/event planner in
our office within blocks to McCormick Place, Chicago.
Job responsibilities:
- Event planning and implementation;
- Travel operations such as itinerary design, hotel/transportation/
restaurant reservation, tour guides/drivers/interpreters dispatch, paperwork
preparation, office support, vehicle management, etc.;
- Supplier management and relationship maintenance;
- Interpretation and translation between Mandarin Chinese and English;
- Working as a tour guide or interpreter when needed;
Qualifications:
- Being eligible to work in the United States;
- Native Mandarin Chinese speaker with excellent English skills; Cantonese
skill is a plus but not necessary;
- Project management and/or event planning experience are required;
- Travel industry working experience is highly appreciated, but not
mandatory;
- Good communication skills and team player;
- Pay great attention to details;
- Skills to deal with tough clients;
- Know and understand Chinese culture;
-Website design skills are desired, but not mandatory;
- Fresh graduates with great potentials are acceptable;
Our office is conveniently located on Michigan Avenue. We're within walking
distance to McCormick Place, Soldier Field, Michigan Lake and China Town.
