Develops staffing and organizational strategies aligned with the agency’s
business plan and business goals

Provides coaching and counseling related to organizational and performance-
management issues

Serves as internal consultant to managers and advisor/mediator in employee
situations in which discipline is joint responsibility of the Director of
Human Resources and employee supervisor

Advises management regarding all employee terminations; oversees all aspects
of employee terminations

effective benefits program for all local and foreign employees

Oversees the HR Generalist in the full recruiting cycle from candidate
sourcing and evaluation to offer negotiation and closing for a wide range of
agency positions; directly handles high level position negotiations and
closings

Establishes goals, objectives and systems for the HR/Administration
department in line with overall agency goals

Through oversight of Global HR + Administration Director; works to align
Shanghai office with Global Human Resources programs to create consistency,
drive performance and strengthen communication

Responsible for legal compliance with employment, benefits and building-
safety laws and regulations
建立和维护对规章、行业趋势、新的发展和适用的人力资源法律的充分意识和理解
Maintains and establishes full awareness and understanding of regulations,
industry trends, current practices, new developments and applicable HR laws

Identifies position requirements and position competencies to ensure
candidates are qualified

Partners with HR Generalist to develop and implement creative, proactive and
effective recruiting strategies related to short and long term recruitment
goals in order to source the best talent

Sources and screens qualified candidates, leverages Internet Job Boards,
employee referrals and direct cold calling techniques

Through oversight of HR Generalist, gathers and consolidates feedback from
interview team members and provides to hiring manager or team to facilitate
hiring decisions

accurate expectations, providing feedback, negotiating and closing all

Conducts exit interviews to gather data on the reasons for the employees’
exits and conditions in the agency
Qualifications, Distinguishing Characteristics and Special Requirements
商业本科专业,人力资源管理专业优先
Bachelor’s degree in Business required, preferably with a concentration in
Human Resources Management
7年以上中型企业人力资源部的管理经验,广告公司或其他创意环境优先
Minimum 7 years’ experience managing a Human Resources department in a
medium-sized organization, preferably in an advertising agency or other
creative environment
必须具备注重强大战略能力和可操作、可实施的细节视角
Must possess a strong tactical focus as well as an operational,
implementation and detail oriented perspective
能够建议和推荐意见,与各阶层员工沟通能力
Ability to advise, recommend suggestions and communicate with employees at a
variety of levels and across functions

Knowledge of current employment laws
能够广泛赢得信任和尊敬的思辨能力,把员工利益放在最高位以以及高工作压力下沉着
冷静的心理素质
A proven track record of gaining trust and respect by consistently
demonstrating confidentiality and sound critical-thinking skills, placing
the highest level of value on people and maintaining composure in stressful

Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
中英文流利,口语和书面能力俱佳
Fluent in both Chinese and English, spoken and written required

Exceptional initiative and follow-through skills

能接受工作需要的出差包括一些国外出差
Ability to travel occasionally, sometimes abroad
