Job description
The system supports various middle office functions by providing a
framework that implements the business's workflow. Functionality such
as pricing, document management, reconciliation, report generation and
portfolio management are supported by the system. The position
requires involvement in all aspects of the project life cycle.
Responsibilities
The primary responsibility will involve responding to and enhancing
functionality requests driven by the various internal users.
Additionally, normal system maintenance will be required as needed to
ensure compliance with the company's standards. Specific tasks
include:
- Working with business on issue tracking and development prioritization
- Development of formal technical requirements
- Design and coding of new features as well as bug fixes
- Change management
- Production issue resolution
Requirements ( Technical)
.NET, WPF,WCF & SQLServer developer with the following skills:
- 1-3 years C# and WPF development with solid hands-on experience
- SQL Server 2005/2008 including stored procs, views and triggers
- Experience building WCFservices
- Experience building /Scheduling windows console applications
- Exposure to Excel/VBA programming
- Familiarity with Continuous Integration build and Deployment tools
- Comfortable with the use of Design patterns
- Knowledge or Jira, Visio and PowerPoint
Requirement ( Business)
A broad understanding of Fixed Income products and how they are traded
(both cash and derivative products) is required.
Strong written and communication skills as well at the ability to
focus in on detail are required.
