This position takes responsibilities of both global program management and technical project management within the Philips Diagnostic ECG business organization, located in Shanghai. This individual will report to DECG R&D director.
Requirements
• Bachelor's degree (minimum) in Science or Engineering
• 5+ Years related experience
• Ability to effectively lead, manage, and energize cross-functional teams across multiple sites
• Ability to quickly assess unclear, complex, and ambiguous situations and reduce into distinct, clear, timey, and stable direction for the development team
• Negotiate skillfully in tough situations with both internal and
external groups to settle differences with minimum noise and win concessions without damaging relationships
• Have a good sense of SW or electronic devices development process
• Proficient problem solving skills
• Fluent Mandarin and very good English is mandatory
Responsibilities
The selected candidate will be responsible for technical project management and global program management of DECG products.
Planning & execution of new product development programs from inception
through market introduction, includes:
• Communicating expectations,aligning,and energizing,cross-functional teams.
• Lead and manage establishment of realistic and comprehensive plans for new product development and deployment.
• Provide strong leadership to cross functional teams with uncompromising drive to meet program targets.
• Pro-active management of risks and opportunities ensuring that appropriate actions are planned and executed for risk mitigation and opportunity achievement.
• Engages all levels of management across the organization by exception to resolve resource conflicts, remove roadblocks, & implement risk mitigations.
• Direct and manage the process of scope definition and change
control, including estimating and negotiations of program contract and scope variations.
• Focal for reporting status of programs at various levels of the organization.
• Having solid works skills regularly discussing new technical solutions with designing engineers and partners.
• Own and manage the design history files and other relating deliverables
