Infinova is a fast growing global manufacturer of electronic security and
surveillance products with operations in the United States and China (www.
infinova.com). Infinova is publically listed in the Chinese stock exchange
and our products include video surveillance, access control, integration
software, and fiber optic communications systems. Infinova has extensive
experience in both analog and network/digital products, with recent shift to
emphasis on the latter.
We are actively recruiting a experienced, Senior Software Architect who has
hands-on approach and can mentor and develop our team of 80 software
developers.
Responsibilities include:
1. Review/prioritize feature requests and ensure successful feature
delivery;
2. Develop the architecture for our video management software solutions;
3. Break down complex software development into smaller manageable tasks
and modules;
4. Analyze and solve technical problems during product development.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Software Engineering;
2. 10+ years of development/leadership experience;
3. 5+ years of software architecture experience;
4. Experience with the following technology and tools:
a. OOD, UML modeling tools and the use of design patterns;
b. Object Oriented programming language (such as: C++, Java, .NET);
c. Server, stream media, networking, video and storage technologies;
d. RDBMS and SQL;
e. Application and database performance optimization techniques;
f. Video surveillance products and technology;
g. ONVIF/RTSP/RTP/RTCP protocols;
h. .NET or JavaEE system framework design, experience with Web Server
programming;
i. Distributed system framework design;
5. Bilingual English/Mandarin is preferred but not required.
