seeking a highly motivated individual to join our internship program and
conduct research in the areas of data communication and telematics in mobile
networks. The ideal candidate should have a solid background in
optimization theory as well as wireless communications theory and be
proficient in Matlab. Knowledge of linear & quadratic programming, and
constrained optimization would be an asset. Familiarity with intelligent
transportation systems/vehicular networks and their standards (e.g. DSRC,
WAVE, 802.11p) would be a plus. As would experience with network simulation
tools such as NS3 or OPNET. Senior Ph.D. students in electrical engineering
are encouraged to apply.
