Primary Responsibilities:
This position involves the testing of experimental anti-cancer agents in
cell-based and biochemical assays. Primary responsibilities include cell
culture, assay development and signaling pathway analysis.
Education/Experience Required:
A BA/BS or MS and hands-on experience with mammalian tissue culture and
basic laboratory skills is required. The ideal candidate will have expertise
in cellular proliferation assays, apoptosis assays and western blotting.
Basic proficiency with applications such as Word, Powerpoint and Excel are
required. Knowledge of cancer biology, particularly with respect to
apoptotic and proliferative signaling pathways is desirable.
