A Brief Introduction of
Northwest Institute of Mechanical & Electrical Engineering
西北机电工程研究所始建于1957年，是集机械、电子、液压、自控、测试、光学、工程
力学和计算机科学等多学科为一体的大型综合应用技术研究所。首任所长是被誉为“中
国的保尔柯察金”——吴运铎同志。全所现有职工1300余人，其中专业技术人员900余
人，研究员级高级工程师近80人，高级工程师近300人。现有8位国家级和省部级有突出
贡献的专家，享受国务院政府特殊津贴的专家30余人。
Founded in 1957, Northwest Institute of Mechanical & Electrical Engineering
is a
large comprehensive applied technology institute incorporating various
studies including mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, automatic control,
testing, optic, engineering dynamic and computer technologies. The first
president Mr. Wu Yunduo has been praised as “Chinese Paul Kocakin”. The
institute now has over 1300 employees, including over 900 professional
technicians. It owns approximately 80 professor-level senior engineers and
almost 300 senior engineers, with 8 experts been awarded for Outstanding
Contribution Experts in state-level and provincial-level, and over 30
experts been awarded for State Council Expert for Special Allowance.
近年来，我所在科研基础设施建设方面进行了大量投入，机械、随动、测试、液压
等专业基础实验室和工程研制试验室设备先进，设施完善。局域网、办公自动化系统、
数字化设计平台逐步投入使用，使所的管理和设计能力提升到了国内先进水平。
Recently, our institute has been making big effort on construction of
scientific infrastructural facilities to build mechanical, servo, testing,
hydraulic laboratories and engineering development testing laboratories with
advanced equipments and mature facilities. local area network, office
automation system and digitalized design platform have been phased into
operation, which upgrade the management and design abilities to domestic
leading position.
“十一五”以来，稳步增长的经济效益和合理的收入分配机制，使员工的平均收入

1、属自然科学或工程技术领域，在海外取得博士学位，不超过45岁；，
2、在国外著名高校、知名企业、科研院所担任相当于教授职务的专家学者，并有3年以
上的海外科研经历。
