Primary Responsibilities:
- Production support environment.
- System setup and customization.
- OS installation and configuration including zones/containers.
- Sun StorageTek storage configuration.
- Veritas Volume configuration/support (Veritas Volume replication is
plus).
- System monitoring – CPU, Disk, Memory utilization, etc.
- Capacity planning inputs, Periodical reporting.
- OS/Patches upgrade.
- Scripting for automating tasks.
- Backup / Restore.
- Responsibilities include hardware, OS, level troubleshooting.
Qualifications:
- A degree in Computer Science or a related field with at least 5 years
of applicable experience preferably in a small to mid-size company (
financial services experience desired, but not a must).
- Flexible, motivated, with a hands-on attitude.
- Good customer facing and interpersonal skills desired.
- Open to new challenges and willing to take on new responsibilities.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Very good benefit (401K, pension, training, PTO...) but might not provide H1
