Position is responsible for conducting complex, high profile data
analyses to support Rewards, Product and Brand Management marketing
strategies and initiatives. Candidate must have a demonstrated ability
to provide creative solutions to complex business problems using
advanced analytical techniques with both internal and external data
sources. Additionally, the candidate must be able to explain the
analytical results to Sr. Management in a clear, concise and effective
manner.
The candidate will work closely with the Marketing managers in the
design and execution of rewards programs, product changes and various
promotional campaigns to drive cardmember engagement and usage.
The candidate must demonstrate the ability to work independently on
multiple projects with cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities
• Consult with Business Partners in strategy development.
• Analyze program performance and make strategic recommendations to
improve program effectiveness in terms of targeting and usage.
• Collaborate with Rewards Marketing, Finance and Business Technology
• Monitor, explain and forecast key financial metrics related to card
member loyalty.
• Develop reports to monitor and explain trends.
• Work with offshore teams.
• Efficiently extract, consolidate and analyze data from multiple
source
systems using SAS, SQL, and Excel.
Skills Required
• 1+ years professional experience with a strong background in data
analysis.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work with minimum supervision and demonstrate outstanding
problem solving and decision making skills.
• 1+ Year work experience with SAS software in UNIX and PC
environments.
• Strong SQL and Excel skills preferred
Skills Desired
• Experience with predictive modeling and econometric time series
forecasting is a plus
• MS in Statistics, Math or Economics preferred |
