A food company in LA is hiring a general manager assistant.
Position Description
Job Title: General Manager Assistant
Reports To: General Manager
Status: Full Time

JOB DUTIES
1. Assist General Manager on overseeing the company operation.
2. Prepare production schedule according to sales forecast.
3. Order raw materials and packaging materials according to production
plan.
4. Coordinate with plant supervisor to implement General Manager’s
instruction on production.
5. Assist General Manger on business development.
6. Assist General Manger on negotiating with vendors.
7. Assist General Manger on product development.
8. Assist General Manger on recruiting personnel.
9. Fulfilling other assignments from general manager.

QUALIFICATIONS
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each
essential duty satisfactory. The requirements listed below are
representative of the knowledge, skills, and/or ability required.
• Good written and oral communication skills
• Computer knowledge in Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Good organizing & management skills.
• Knowledge in marketing and business administration.
• Understand inventory control and warehouse management.
• Be able to work overtime.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Batchelor Degree in Marketing or Business Administration is preferred.
Minimum 3 years experience in marketing or business development plus minimum
3 years in business administration is required. Working experience in food
manufacturing or food service industry is preferred. Knowledge in Microsoft
Office, such as Word, Excel and PowerPoint is required.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Fluent in spoken, reading and writing in both English and Chinese.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to compute rates, ratios and percentages, and draw and interpret
statistic charts.
TRAVEL
Sometimes need to travel
