必定会有收获. 我常推荐客户看几本书, 非常有效, 凡能领会并灵活应用书里的方法的
人,
都早早地上班去了. 其次, 找工作的结果和英语水平也有关系, 提高English是需要环
境, 时间和金钱的, 还是早些规划为妙, 至少提前2年准备, 到时候才不手忙脚乱.
第三是专业的选择, 必须是自己可以handle而且有兴趣的专业, 然后才是收入和相应的
市场需求情况. 很多人不知道哪些专业在美国好找工作, 一窝蜂地念统计或会计, 还有
护士.
姑且不说这些行业的就业情况在变化, 如果自己不喜欢, 或是不合适做, 念了也是浪费
时间.
每年都有新的行业产生,大家可能不了解情况吧? 还是要多做研究, 不能懒啊.总指望别
人告诉你, 不如自己同时也做个有心人.

发帖数: 461 | 9 对很多人来说, 有几个问题.
一是他们都通过广告应聘, 很多时候(75%)雇主喜欢内部推荐(熟悉的人总放心些), 不
通过广告找陌生人. 他们如果通过广告找工作, 竞争激烈, 成功率低.
二是他们要H1B Sponsorship, 不是每个employer都有兴趣do extra paperwork to
hire 他们.
三是部分人不想学习找工作的技巧和interview的skill, 或者不知道如何去学, 也少有
人愿意或能够付学费去学. 我正考虑开interview和job hunting的培训班, 有兴趣购买
培训教材的和我站内联系. 对每个人来说, 需要的补课的东西不一样, 所以我必须先了
解情况, 看过resume后, 我安排电话会议, 达到因材施教的目的.
四是部分中国学生的English实在不如Indian or European, cover letter, resume
中往往有错误. 有些并非grammar mistakes, 而是他们的写法不符合当地的文化和习惯.
五是大多数人以为车到山前自有路, 但我总是提倡早些准备, 不要等到毕业前一年. 宁
