Job Summary:
High-performance product team in Supermicro is seeking talented a System
Engineer with Windows/Linux development experience who can contribute to the
technical collateral development of in-house server system products and
solutions. This individual will have the opportunity to define and implement
latest data center and server technologies, and to create proof of concepts
and technical feature paper presentations to differentiate Supermicro
product through online and at various industry events. This individual will
also be the go-to person for product managers and system engineers to be the
subject of matter expert in the particular product/solution in terms of the
architecture, features, and performance.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Includes the following essential duties and responsibilities (other duties
may also be assigned):
• Design and develop solution level reference architectures based on
Supermicro server systems and cutting-edge datacenter technologies. key
examples include Hybrid Cloud infrastructure solutions, Data Analytics
solutions, IoT Edge, and etc.
• Execute solution level certification testing and performance testing
for Supermicro server products
• Design and build proof of concepts based on technical use cases and
create technical whitepapers
• Create special Windows OS image with customer setting for production
• Work with product managers and system engineers to support technical
marketing presentations and products/solutions promotion
• Work with sales and customers to provide pre-sales and post-sales
support
Qualifications:
• Bachelor or Master's degree in EE, CE with minimum of 1 year system
engineering experiences in server products is strongly desirable
• Knowledge in Windows/Linux development with hand on experience
• Experiences in popular programming languages and technologies (node.
js, python, Powershell, Kubernetes, containers, and virtual machines)
• Strong knowledge in server architecture and OS concept, and
knowledge in Cloud native computing is a plus
• Experiences in configuring Windows Server.
• Experiences in technical writing and Good communication skills. | h**********w

这个职位需要申请者有h1b，支持h1b transfer。
opt最好不要，因为有抽不中h1b风险（我们hr说的）
另外确实不适合这个论坛里的大部分人，只适合一小部分有需要的人。以后想做devop
，或者想做产品经理或者solution manager的人也可以考虑。
