话，进一步上升的空间肯定打不开。虽然读了的话，在美国这边公司可能还是有玻璃天
花板，但是去国内公司找高管的机会大不少。目前还没有好的项目可以创业，所以犹豫
这几年的时间必须给自己充电一下。唯一的顾虑是：都已经40岁了，准备申请个MBA就
要至少一年时间(考GMAT），然后利用业余时间(很难辞职去读一个全职的MBA，还要养
家)读一个两年期的MBA，按照我的速度，估计要3年才能拿下，出来就44岁了。大家有
什么高见? |

with it? As part of the application process, you will have an opportunity
to share your vision with the admission office. The clearer the vision
about yourself, what you want to do in the future, and how an MBA fits into
that narrative, the better odds you have to get in.
As part of the misconception, you don't need an MBA to start a business - it
helps in some very specific cases, but for the most part, experience, not
afraid of getting your hands dirty and having an entrepreneur spirit are
more than enough.
You also don't need an MBA to advance in your current company - unless you
are part of a selective group chosen by your company (and paid for by your
company) to get one.
Getting an MBA does mean opening up more options career wise. But be
prepared to start over in a different field. And the competition is no less
intense, even for entry ones.
Btw., for your age, it should be top 20 (ideally top 5) or bust. Otherwise
potential risk-reward just doesn't justify it for you and your family. |

你说的挺对的。我没有打算读全时段的MBA，那个top5的MBA申请难度不小。我心动的是
一些online的MBA，我所在的城市也有 Top30 的周五周六各上半天课的MBA。
现在谈Vision有点早，主要是想从research的track跳到business的track，同时能复合
一下我的research背景。我在国内投资界也认识一些朋友，可惜2017年开始国内的人民
币资本转移不出来，他们现在只能在国内自己玩投资项目，我暂时也不想回去搅国内的
浑水。
您觉得International MBA和MBA on e Business怎么样? 我个人的Vision就是传统的企
业需要多和互联网企业互相学习。纯粹传统的MBA其实有点过时，马云就说了他就不招
MBA的人，我觉得有一定道理。商战有时候实战经验更加重要。现在的职业经理人都是
商战里面拼出来的。

经验waive掉。

景的人镀金的，那没有背景的就更不值了。
我觉得你这个有点太后知后觉了，MBA在全球化下已经快被扫进历史的垃圾堆了，就不
要去赶这个晚集了吧。

体吧。输了也不亏，反正废物利用，还有政府免费牢饭。 |

职业或创业有帮助。但是目前上的一些leadership的课程倒帮助我在目前的工作中很多
东西看得比较明白了，不管怎么说，活到老，学到老，learn something new总是没错
