我们公司最近有个C++ software engineer的职位，觉得最好被中国人拿到，否则公司
的HR会推荐一些不知道哪个consulting公司来的老印。
要求C++要强，刷题不需要，最好PhD，new grad没问题，master有几年工作经验也可以
。工作主要是给现在的neural network model增加一些新功能，然后用C++实现。
公司h1b和绿卡都给办，work-life balance非常好，可以选择去Austin, TX office或
者是湾区office。感兴趣的可以把你的简历发到[email protected]，我直接转给
hiring manager。
公司是Nanometrics。最佳人选是在学术界做过很多数值计算方面的研究，并且恰好C++
很强。

We require a C++ Sr. Software Engineer to join our growing R&D engineering
teams. The role will cover all aspects of the software lifecycle including
translating customer needs into software requirements, and designing,
developing, debugging numerical analysis software for optical inspection.
Job Requirements:
Ph. D. or equivalent in an engineering discipline or appropriate
physical science
2+ years professional software development experience using C and C++
2+ years demonstrated track record in delivering software for industrial
or scientific products
Experience with creating robust, scalable software systems and
maintaining complex legacy software systems
Excellent teamwork and communication skills
Intel compiler detailed optimization knowledge
Knowledge of Linear algebra , iterative algorithms, multivariate
modeling
Strong hardware knowledge: memory stack, processor architecture,
instruction and register understanding, multi-core
Understanding of the speed vs precision tradeoffs of numerical computing
Scripting language knowledge, Automation test background
Experience in understanding business logic
Agile project background
Ph. D. or equivalent in an engineering discipline or appropriate

that means the hiring manager didn't find a match, unfortunately.
This is your side of the story. My side of the story is that a lot of
candidates didn't write me anything even after they went to the onsite
interviews.

C++不够熟练，电面就挂了....

首先我们也是有一定要求的，并且要求有点儿小众。要有数值计算和模拟的背景。
还有不幸的是，我们给offer的一两个他们还有别的offer，没有选我们。但是他们也用
我们的offer在别家negotiate了好package，这不是很好吗？
如果我们不继续找，第一budget有可能取消。第二公司的HR从consulting firm找烙印
来面试。这两个结局都不好吧？

能说声谢谢，其他的不管走到哪步根本就不搭理我。
后来我想明白了，除了很多小孩家教不好没礼貌之外，很多国人好像还觉得我内推他们
是为了赚公司的referral bonus，所以他们根本就不欠我啥。
