有的房东驾照上不是出租房的地址，
通常怎么向对方确认比较好呢？不会是要房产证吧 |

拿Santa Clara County举例，先到Assessor Office输入租房地址，查到APN
https://www.sccassessor.org/index.php/online-services/property-search/real-
property
之后到County Clerk Recorder输入APN查到所有和这个房子有关的文件
http://scccroselfservice.org/web/search/DOCSEARCH400S5
关注最近一次的DEED文件中此房产是不是转让给现任房东，如果不是的话一定要问清楚

但是这个APN在第二个网站搜不到:
比如这个mobile Home（https://www.sccassessor.org/index.php/online-services/
property-search/mobile-home-property）的APN是19742528，结果第二个网站搜不到

How can I find out who owns a property?
California Government Code 6254.21 states that "No state or local agency
shall post the home address or telephone number of any elected or appointed
official on the Internet without first obtaining the written permission of
that individual." As the cost to collect and continuously update that
information is prohibitive, the On-Line Property Assessment Information
System does not display the ownership information. However, ownership
information is currently available either from microfiche or a public
terminal at the Assessor's Office located at 70 West Hedding Street, San
Jose, East Wing 5th Floor, Monday through Friday between the hours of 8:00 a
.m. through 5:00 p.m.
你如果知道房东的全名，你也可以试着这样搜一下：
http://scccroselfservice.org/web/search/DOCSEARCH400S1
按"Lastname, Firstname"的格式输入，不用管时间，他会搜出1981年以来的各种
document。
当然如果你房东名字很常见那就会搜出好多同名的人来。

（档案上是个老莫，带我看房的是国人）。请问这种情况一定是骗局吗？
对方说可以照一份买房时的文件给我看作证明，请问该向对方要哪份文件比较可信？

对方现在给我看一份Escrow文件（叫做Buyer/Borrower Statement estimated）， 上
面buyer确实是她的名字，seller是我查到的owner名字。这份文件能否证明她是真的房
东吗？

买房之后office那边应该有一段时间才会更新，可能他才买没多久。
信息差不多吻合就行。比如你比较一下estimate的成交价是不是和redfin上查出来差不
多。
