We have multiple openings within all areas of Product Development. Please
review the below positions and apply with a resume. Please include a brief
objective statement in your resume detailing the areas you have the greatest
interest in. FCA is seeking talented career minded engineering
professionals interested in building a career in the automotive industry. We
are currently hiring in the following areas:
•Body Engineering- These engineers work on the structure and the
exterior of a vehicle. This could be sliding doors, bumpers or exterior
ornamentation. This engineer will get a combination of working with plastic
sheet metal, and glass.
•Interior- These engineers are responsible for the quality, design,
safety and the overall appearance of the inside of a vehicle. This could be
the comfort of seats in the Dodge Challenger or the how the airbags fit into
the dashboard with the amazing audio system of our new Chrysler Pacifica.
•Chassis & Suspension Engineering- This is the frame of the vehicle
meaning what the body of the vehicle actually sits on. Engineers can work on
steering, brakes, and tires.
•Engine Systems- This Engineer will work with the whole engine.
Connecting the transmission and engine into the rest of the vehicle.
•Noise, Vibration & Harshness (NVH) Engineer -- NVH Engineers work to
maximize the acoustic and tactile comfort of FCA vehicles.
•Loads Analysis Engineer -- The Loads engineer is responsible to
deliver durability loads to FCA engineering teams by running full vehicle, &
frac12; car suspension, and powertrain mount virtual simulations using ADAMS
.
•Restraint Engineer- These engineers are responsible for the design,
packaging and performance validation of vehicle airbags and seatbelts.
•Vehicle Safety Engineering - This organization is responsible for the
overall vehicle crash performance of FCA vehicles.
•Aerothermal Engineering -- These engineers are responsible for full
vehicle aerodynamic and thermal development utilizing Computational Fluid
Dynamics (CFD) and wind tunnel testing in full and reduced scale.
•Computer Aided Engineering (CAE) -- These engineers utilize various
computer software programs and tools for engineering analysis. These
engineers work in a variety of areas, i.e., Loads, Durability, Aerothermal,
Vehicle Dynamics and Safety.

Basic Qualifications:
•Must have graduated with a minimum of a Bachelor of Science in
Applied Physics, Mechanical, Aerospace Engineering from an ABET accredited
university by the end of 2016
•A strong desire to build a career in automotive engineering
Preferred Qualifications:
•Automotive engineering experience
•Cumulative GPA of 3.0
