Sr. Architect/Sr.Software Engineer - Cloud Management Platform
(Multiple, with both full-time and contractor positions).
The person will participate or lead in the design and implementation of
cloud management platform, with support of OpenStack, and public cloud
services.
Responsibilities:
Lead or participate in the design and architecture of the cloud management
platform.
Be able to independently design and execute the development of a given area
of the CMP, e.g, in application orchestration, resource management,
performance monitoring, capacity management, etc.
Qualifications:
MS in Computer Science or Information Science.
Working experience with VMware, and/or RightScale cloud management platforms.
Working experience with vRealize, a plus.
Excellent understanding of OpenStack, AWS, and/or cloud computing.
Excellent understanding of hybrid cloud architecture, and operational issues.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well experience within
a multi-cultural team.
Software Engineer - Web Frontend Development
The person will contribute to the design and development of web frontend
development for application orchestration and network visualization. Will
also participate in the design and implementation of cloud management
platform, with support of OpenStack, and public cloud services.
Responsibilities:
UX design based on feature requirements from product manager and customers.
Design and implementation of web front end using JavaScript, JQuery,
AngularJS, etc.
Experiment with WebGL and other 3D visualization techniques in data and
network visualization.
Research on technological and market trends in web app development, data
visualization, cloud monitoring, performance management, and related areas.
Participate in open-source community outreach and collaborations.
Qualifications:
MS in Computer Science or Information Science.
Hands-on experience with web application development. Familiar with Django,
node.js or other framework.
Working experience with JavaScript, JQuery, AngularJS.
Working experience with d3.js or other data visualization tools.
Working experience with Python, or Java, preferred.
Good understanding of OpenStack, and/or cloud computing, a plus.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well experience within
a multi-cultural team.
Software Engineer - DevOps
The person will participate in development and operation of a cloud
management platform, with support of OpenStack, and public cloud services.
Responsibilities:
Lead or participate in the design and architecture of the DevOps tool chain
in data center deployment automation, continuous testing and integration,
and continuous deployment.
Lead or participate in the operation of an open lab, with stack reservation
and backup.
Qualifications:
MS in Computer Science or Information Science.
Working experience with Jenkins, Gerrit, and other related tools.
Working experience with chef, Ansible, or puppet configuration management
tools.
Programming skills in python, bash, and/or Java/C++
Experience with web application development a plus.
Good understanding of OpenStack, AWS, and/or cloud computing.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well experience within
