About the Position:
Software Engineer to develop solutions for high performing and scalable Data
Centers.
Responsibilities:
• Enhancing Layer 2, Layer 3 Unicast/Multicast Protocols to work in a
highly distributed environment.
• Collaborate with cross functional teams (other business groups,
Product Line Managers, etc ) to retrofit a highly scalable solution within
an existing framework.
• Develop a distributed and scaled infrastructure for Unicast/
Multicast protocols.
• Develop software methodologies and scripts for testing major
functional blocks.
• Interact with product management to translate requirements into new
product features.
Minimum qualifications:
• relevant work experience in developing embedded software
• Very strong in C/C++ programming, debugging and data structure
concepts
• Knowledge and development in Linux/BSD based kernel environment is
required
• Experience in designing and developing L2/L3 Multicast protocols.
• Understanding of routing and switching technologies like TCP/IP,
Ethernet, VLANs is required |
