This is an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated software
developer with experience in an agile, fast moving environment, working with
the Core Infrastructure Team, developing high quality software end-to-end.
The successful candidate will relish a real word business/technology
challenge and have at least 3 years commercial development experience, with
a strong emphasis in design & architecture.
The successful applicant will work on a team focused on designing
and developing OpenLink's state-of-the-art technical infrastructure, APIs,
and application stack. Experience in distributed software, service oriented
architectures, middleware, and model-view-controller is highly desired.
Client-facing skills will be an advantage since some development and support
will involve customer interaction. International travel is an option if
desired.
Requirements
§ At least 3 years commercial software development
experience
§ Strong experience coding any of the following: C, C++, C#,
Java
§ Demonstrable multithreading, concurrency, distributed
architecture skills
§ Solid software development life-cycle experience, and a
proven record of designing, coding, and delivering applications
§ Solid experience in OOAD (Object Oriented Analysis and
Design)
§ Experience with relational databases/SQL useful (Oracle or
SQL server)
§ Degree in Computer Science with excellent academic record
