R*****K 发帖数: 52 | 1 I am currently teaching in a small college. My OPT expired on August 1. I
submitted my OPT extension application at the end of June. Unfortunately,
my OPT extension was denied and I received the notice two days ago. The
reason is that " You hold a H1 B visa since June 2014", which is incorrect.
Normally, you can not work once you receive the denial notice. However, the
lawyer (hired by our college) said that I can continue working because this
mistake was made by government. The lawyer will submit a motion to reopen
to
USCIS soon.
My question is: Can I still work at this time?
Thanks so much for your time! | r*****n 发帖数: 753 | |
