Description of Position:
This role is responsible for developing a front end application using
JavaScript, HTML5 and CSS3. You
will work closely with team members including: development, business
analysts, team leads, quality
assurance, infrastructure, and project management. The person that fills
this role must have the ability to
work independently on assignments with minimal supervision while remaining
highly collaborative.
Qualifications/Experience
• Education: Bachelor's Degree or Masters of Science in Computer
Science preferred.
• Years of Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience as a web
developer
• Modular and object-oriented JavaScript using jQuery and AngularJS
• HTML5, CSS3
• Responsive web design
• Client side MV* patterns
• Interested in learning new technologies.
• SASS, LESS or some other CSS framework a plus
• Superior analytical and problem solving ability
• Aesthetic sensibility
• Webpage loading performance techniques
• Cross browser support
• Version control
• Development and debugging tools
• Client side validation and error handling best practices
• Adept at N-tier architecture: UI, business layers and data layers;
Distributed client and server
platform development (core framework, service and component development) |
