Responsibilities:
Analyze product requirements specifications, functional specifications
and prepare a detailed functional test specification and execute to this.
Prepare a detailed capability matrix to map capabilities to functional
requirements to the test plan, for defining the acceptance criteria and
ensuring comprehensive test coverage.
Independently design and document detailed performance test cases to
cover all levels of test, including: performance, and scalability under load
/stress.
Effectively employ automation of Hyper-V API's to deploy large scale vms
and also certification with various versions.
Analyze reported defects to assess severity and prioritize them for
development to fix.
Interact with software developers to tune code and track all problem
reports to closure.
Requirements:
BS or MS in Computer Science
3 – 5 years of QA / software development
Deep knowledge of CIFS / SMB and/or SAMBA testing topologies
Experience in architecting and implementing a test strategy with strong
emphasis on CIFS/SMB automation.
Experience in storage systems troubleshooting and integration (NAS
appliance a plus).
Knowledgeable with common scripting languages (Python, Perl)
Experience with Microsoft System Center or SCVMM a plus
Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written). |
