有说年轻人就要去startup的，有说刚毕业应该去大公司学习的。
有说绿卡身份最重要应该去大公司呆着的，也有说只要有本事去startup也完全不用考
虑身份的。
实在还是纠结和迷茫啊。
目前手头有好几个offer，推掉了好几个startup，目前留了一个startup，salesforce
和linkedin，纠结了很久立即就要做最终决定了，求问大家意见。
先上package信息：
saleforce：120k base， 15k sign on， 税后9.5k的relocation，价值27k的RSU/4年
startup（实在太小不方便说名字）：120k base，10k sign on，15k stock options/4
年，他家对股票超有信心，股票估值60万
linkedin：还未知，看版上的数据感觉挺一般的...组也未知，是application track
优缺点：
linkedin：dream company。以及由于个人原因，相比三番更倾向于南湾。不过本人是
最想做infrastructure的，samza，kafka啥的使得心目中l的地位非常高，但当初
recruiter说infrastructure难面，一般都招experienced所以就选了application
track，比较担心没有合适的组。
startup：团队非常强，基本全是google之类的大公司跳来的，对自家股票超有信心，
公司盈利发展也很不错，我个人也挺有信心公司能发展到那个程度。我关键是更希望做
直接面向用户的产品，觉得他家做企业软件感觉不太提得起兴趣加上感觉技术不是特别
新潮...
salesforce：做的东西完完全全就是我做过的以及想做的(scala, storm, samza,
kafka, docker, etc)，纠结的地方和startup也一样：企业软件不太感兴趣，不过还好
公司有知名度。此外股票也惊人地少... |

recommend stay out of infrastructure.
Cloudera/MapR/Databricks/Hortonworks/Confluent kind of open source startups
don't count as "startups" in my personal opinion. I regard them pretending
to have some customer base but really never plan to survive on that, their
sole goal is to become a pet of, or acquired by, big companies later.

stack，从后端做到前端，都在应用的层面。

Infrastructure, big data, highly scalable system kind of profession, is like
轰炸机飞行员 or 导弹专家。(My preferred) startup is like 游击战、上梁山、红
军闹革命。
MySQL (single instance) + PHP + Client side etc is like 小米加步枪。Once the
"revolution" is succeeded, 步兵 is never respected, you will be way below
飞行员 or 导弹专家... That's why many people work hard to get into
infrastructure team for the respect in established companies, and stable
jobs.
But my theory is that once 红军 can afford 轰炸机 (MySQL is not enough for
their user base, etc), they are already very very successful. Then they will
recruit 导弹专家 kind of personnel with high salary. But, 开国元勋 are
always those people who solved 小米+步枪 kind of problems。
Also I personally don't see much promises from Open Source Infrastructure
kind of start-ups, such as Cloudera. Their business model is highly
questionable (sell open source?). I kinda feel their playbook is "装得有正当
职业收入,好求包养时好谈价"。Cloudera, Hortonworks, MapR now have affiliation
with Intel, Microsoft, Amazon, to be a piece in those big companies' Big
Data 布局... I highly suspect if accumulate influence in Hadoop world and
sell that influence to Microsoft/etc to fulfill their Hadoop strategy, is
their planned move in the very beginning.

组最重要了。
公司再好不是你的好，组好你才可以锻炼学到自己要的东西。
类似于选大学，还是学专业。

是结果，而不是原因。
如果你一定要把startup定义为：搞个公司，一定要做大做强，否则就不是startup；那
我只能说：
