is this true?
what are the typical compensation level for these two jobs?
not the core business but other small new initiatives such as Amazon fresh,
Amazon lending, Amazon music, etc.

发帖数: 6127 | 2 Never heard of 'sr manager', it's either sr dev manager, sr product manager
or sr marketing manager etc.
all can be lvl 7, or lvl 6 in subsidiary. Many product managers have no
directs but some do.
lvl7 has a wide comp range. really depends on the team and your background,
and how badly the team wants you.

Manager (lv6)高一级。两个都可以有direct report
Fresh MBA 是 Senior Product Manager (lv6)
Comp range不知道，不同的role同级别都能差很多。甚至可以没有overlap
Amazon也无所谓什么是core business。Retail？都饱和了。AWS? 乱得要死。其实我觉
得Amazon fresh不错的
Amazon lending就是超低率借给那些别处借不到钱的卖家，不在乎赚钱但在乎赚吆喝
Amazon music没戏。倒是instant video借着Kindle的东风还能发展下
话说MBA刚毕业的话来当个Senior Product Manager也不错啊
