Responsibilities
Gather functional
requirements and translate to technical design specifications
Develop, unit
testing, QA, implementation, and production support
Follow development
standards and promoting best practices.
Conduct performance
analysis, testing, and code reviews, etc,
Collaborate with
business application owners, project managers, designers, engineers, and
infrastructure teams to build a quality experience for users.
Create a compelling
user experience using code polished to near perfection, leaving no detail
unfinished.
Design and develop
custom Web Parts, Events handlers, Timer Jobs, Workflows, and different
levels of group permissions
Deliver key
technical/design documents, code artifacts, and training materials.
Requirements
7+ years of Web
application and web service development.
Passion for
developing great user interfaces, Experience in creating user-centric design
.
Knowledge of
Microsoft SharePoint 2010/2013 Foundation/Server
Experience with
using the SharePoint content deployment features, Object Model and Client OM
APIs, SharePoint Designer 2010 for master page customization, style sheet
modification, data view configuration
Thorough
understanding of SharePoint Master Pages, Page Layouts and CSS files
Thorough knowledge
of "Web 2.0" features of SharePoint: Blogs, Wikis, Social Networking (
Profiles & Communities)
Understanding and
previous experience with Blogs, tweets, RSS, CHA, email campaign and other
collaboration and communication technologies as it relates to social
networking and intranet integration
5+ years working
with Microsoft Web development tools
Microsoft .net
framework, ASP, .Net, and C#
Java Scripting,
Visual Studio, HTML, XML, HTML & Client side scripting (Javascript, AJAX,
JSON and JS libraries (jQuery, YUI, etc),DHTML, XSL, XSLT, XHTML, CAML)
Experience with
using Visual Studio 2010 with SharePoint solution packaging and debugging
Working knowledge
of SQL, SQL Server, Reporting Services integration, IIS, and scripting
skills.
Experience
migrating content from one SharePoint tier or site collection to another
Experience with
creating content types and site columns
Experience and
capabilities of understanding business processes, and optimizing SharePoint
for each business cases.
Ability to work on
multiple overlapping projects
Excellent verbal
and written communication skills
Self-motivated and
detail-oriented
Portfolio that
includes sample web-based projects (required)
Computer Science or
related degree and 6+ years web development experience in a front-end
design and/or development role
Pluses
Experience with
redesign of portal and UI.
Experience with
Photoshop, video clips creation, email campaign/marketing
Experience with
migration to SharePoint 2013
Experience with
using Nintex and other 3rd party technologies
