Boca Raton, Florida based hedge fund with more than $200M asset under
management and
about 5 years very good track record.
We are a small firm with less than 5 employees at present.
Two positions available in Mid June.
1. Senior Accountant/Controller/Operation
Responsibilities including:
a. Daily NAV calculation, monthly NAV/return calculation. Coordinate with
outside Administrator/Auditor/Brokerage firms for position/commission/return
etc. reconciliation.
b. Produce/reconcile with Administrator for Quarterly regulatory filing of
position/return/AUM etc.
Requirement:
BS or MS degree in finance/economics or engineering. MS degree preferred.
Familiar with Excel/VBA/MSSQL, CPA/big 4 experience preferred. Experience
with CFTC/NFA/Futures & Options industry preferred. 2-3 years working
experiences preferred.
2. Quant/IT support
Responsibilities including:
a. Working with PM/Traders closely to calculate risk, develop/test new
models/hypothesis.
b. May need work at Asian or European hours (monitor market or execution)
when we start trading Asian
market.
c. Provide IT support such as daily exchange data collection, manage office
computer network, system administration.
Requirement:
BS or MS degree in computer science or related field. MS degree preferred.
Good programming in Excel/VBA, MS SQL, PERL, R.
Familiar with Futures & Options. Have system administration experiences. 2-3
years working experiences preferred.
