Candidates must have a MS in Electrical Engineering. Job duties require:
Design, develop, and verify, through test and analysis, compliant electrical
sub-assemblies and assemblies to maintain or improve existing / new
products
for industrial & consumer products. Conduct circuit analysis, optimization
methods and utilize design tools such as PSpice, MathCad, CADENCE Allegro
Schematic, PCB Design Suite and Matlab Simulink. Work extensively with
various
RCA tools such as 8Ds CAPA, IS-IS NOT and 5Ys to evaluate field performance
and product failures and to recommend and evaluate CARs to implement
product
/ quality improvements. Accurately document designs through the creation
and maintenance of design requirement specifications, product drawings,
circuit schematics, component drawings, material specifications and bills
of materials. Select and qualify alternatives for EOL components. Design
, develop, test and qualify design change to improve product cost, quality
and reliability. Utilize Engineering tools such as FMEA, FRACAS, Telcordia
to improve product reliability. |
