One of my clients, a technology-driven hedge fund, in Northern Jersey is
looking for a late-shift trading support person to join the team. The
primary responsibility for this individual will be to oversee automated
trading during Asian trading hours. Qualified candidates can come from
diverse professional backgrounds ranging from trading system support /
development, to financial accounting, to trade operations.

Requirements:
-Bachelor’s degree
-Willingness to work late-shift hours on a full-time basis
-Strong communication skills
-Sound judgment
-Ability to work independently
-Knowledge and experience in Linux
-Basic programming skills including scripting
-Prior experience working at a financial firm in an electronic trading
related capacity is a big plus
-Prior experience in financial accounting or trade operations is considered
relevant for the position
-Asia specific experience is helpful but not required
Responsibilities:
-Oversee our algorithmic trading system during Asian trading hours
-Perform daily procedures to enable the system for operation and trading of
Asian markets
-Monitor and spot-check trades displayed within the system
-Identify and respond to trading/system related issues, perform troubleshoot
measures, and escalate as necessary.
-Interact with vendors and trading counter-parties to ensure continuous
trading capabilities |
