a security company, already went public a few month back.
position requirements:
1. must be hard working. if you want to learn. ,this will put you on fast
track to learn as much as possible in as short period of time as possible.
2. management is very demanding, hence you have no choice but work hard.
well, I guess all companies in bay areas are the same on this. sorry.
3. know basic C programming, multi-threading programming, knowledge on linux
a plus.
at this moment, this company has no 401K match, no bonus, only salary and
ESPP ( employee stock purchase plan ) and options/RSU.

I am interested in this position.
I am recent phd in physics and I am looking for a chance to start a software
engineer career. I have done quite some programming during my phd because
my research was mainly computational physics. I am good at C/C++ and
understand basic knowledge of multi-threading.I understand linux because my
research was done on linux-based computers.
