Job Description
Join one of the most important teams at Amazon and make a difference for
tens of thousands of customers. Transaction Risk Management is charged with
ensuring that Amazon is the safest place to transact online through a
combination of automated and manual investigations of the buyers and sellers
on our marketplace.
The China Investigation Manager owns the productivity, quality, capacity and
development of the new operations team based in Seattle, WA. This role is a
perfect combination of people management, process management, strategy, and
analytical thinking in a growing global marketplace.
The manager's success will be measured by their ability to:
Manage and lead a team of investigators
Implement best-in-class processes and practices for maintaining and
exceeding productivity and quality service level agreements
Actively manage and continuously improve workflow
Analyze and identify trends and proactively take action to improve
efficiencies
Work with software teams to articulate and prioritize feature needs for
investigation tool sets
Recruit top-quality investigators. Develop employees and their skill sets to
expand the team capabilities
This role is based in Seattle, WA.
Basic Qualifications
Written and verbal fluency in Mandarin and English languages
BS/BA Degree is required
3+ years management experience in operations or investigations
Excel skills
Experience directly managing employees
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in Fraud/Credit/Risk in finance and or E-commerce is desired.
Ability to dive deep into performance metrics (how, when, who) and process
improvement
