发帖数: 877 | 1 最近对big data比较感兴趣。个人分析了一下，主要是编程型的应用方向Cloud
computation - 包括parallel computation, Hadoop 和研究型的应用方向Data Mining
and Machine Learning - 包括Pattern recognition, Prediction. 还有
一些数据处理过程比如data cleaning, data visualization.
现在好像很多企业都需要做Data Scientist的人，跟Hadoop，.Net一起做Web service
。想往这个方向发展，感觉做研究型的应用方向应该越做越吃香，不容易被新技术淘汰
。但不知道这个方向能走多久，以后的薪酬如何。本人菜鸟级，对big data只略知一二

, statistics, physics, economics, operations research or related field;
graduate or post-graduate degree a plus
A minimum of 5 years of experience at a financial company or in
a research organization working with large data-sets and multi-variate
analysis.
Demonstrated quantitative aptitude including financial modeling
and a well-developed analytical skill set.
Background in statistical analysis and/or engineering is a huge
plus
Courses in advanced mathematics, computer programming, and
statistics.
Proven Ability to quickly locate and analyze extremely large
volumes of data and desire to work with Big Data sets
Fluent in data analysis and manipulation: statistics, machine
learning, data mining
Interest in algorithmic programming, state machines, use of
heuristic models for algorithm development, simulations, etc.
Familiarity with recommender systems, techniques and
technologies such as Collaborative Filtering, Bayesian Statistics, etc.
Ability to synthesize complex data from numerous sources into
user-friendly visual presentations for use by Operations, product management
and Executive teams.
Some programming skills in C++, Python, etc
Knowledge of relational, multi-dimensional and NoSQL database
architectures
Significant experience particularly in desktop data analysis
tools including Excel and Tableau
Demonstrated experience in gathering complex reporting
requirements, designing and implementing insightful Visualization Solutions
(Reports, Dashboards, Metrics, KPI’s)
Ability to rapidly prototype and iterate on vague and quickly
changing requirements
Must be a team-player and be able to work closely with technical
teams and business users
Ability to communicate effectively with Sr. Managers, Directors,
VP’s – across the entire business enterprise.
Capable of building strong relationships with leaders across
enterprise for both sources of data and consumers.
Expert in MS Office.
