This is an entry level software engineer position, developing embedded
software and automatic test software for our hub linecard product on a Linux
platform. The position provides an excellent opportunity to work for a
rapidly growing company in the technology hub of Northern Virgnia, and to
gain experience in full life cycle software development and automatic test
software development, to learn embedded system development skills, and to
advance your career with the company's growth. The ideal candidate must have
a BS degree in CS or similar, plus a couple of years of experience, and is
very interested in automatic test software development. MS degree preferred.
Required Skills:
• 1-3 years of related software development experience
• hands-on C/C++, Python development experience
• OO knowledge and programming experience
• hands-on software development experience on Linux/Unix
• TCP/IP programming experience
• flexibility and ability to learn and use new technologies
• ability to work well in a team environment as well as
independently and get things done
Extremely beneficial:
• experience in writing Unix Shell or Python scripts
• experience in automatic test software development
• cross-platform Linux/Unix programming experience
Beneficial:
• experience with GDB
• experience with Git
• network programming
Education:
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or similar is required
• Master's degree in Computer Science or equivalent is preferred |
