Post the experience here. Hopefully it would be useful... (sorry. cannot
post the real questions.)
1. one round of hr. just background.
2. chatted with hm. coded simple question using collaedit.
3. offline code questions.
Onsite:
2 rounds. The second round depends on the first round.
1st round: three developers mainly system design and OOD. several simple
coding questions. I do not think it should be an issue as long as you do
coding every day. then a hr, after that hm, mostly talked about dev
methodologies like agile, tdd, sprint, release cycles, etc.
2nd round:
2vp with hr questions, the last one is the director. Some design and
architecture questions about what I did recently. Then he told me that the
team had two openings, one is more to architecture, another one is more to
improving the legacy code. Told him that I preferred to the architect one.
he pointed out that they are using nosql, and dht, which I do not have real
design experience (I admitted that to anyone who asked me). And asked me
again. I told him that I did not want to change my mind.
so... I guess my adventure ended there. |
