Senior Software Development Engineer in Test/Technical Lead
Direct FTE OR Contract position in Bellevue
We are seeking Senior Software Development Engineer in Test to join a team
of software engineers in developing desktop applications for a large and
growing user base. This person will be the SDET Technical Lead although
previousl Lead experience is not required. The positions provide the
opportunity to contribute to product development through participation in
software development planning, creation of test plans, and assuring the
production quality of products prior to deployment.
Responsibilities:
Create test plans and procedures and participate in development planning
Develop automated tests to facilitate user scenario, acceptance, regression,
integration, and performance testing
Adhoc testing (i.e. manual testing not following a specific test plan)
Identify and report product defects and verification of fixes
Determine and document detailed reproduction steps for product defects
Configure, maintain, and document test environments
As proscribed by the test plan, execute automated tests and perform manual
tests where automation does not exist or is not yet feasible
Technical Skill Level:
Minimum of 6+ years of MS-Windows testing experience
Minimum of 3+ years of MS-Windows UI test automation experience
Minimum of 4+ years of C# programming experience.
Experience with Ranorex, COM, C++, and Python are definite pluses
Professional Skill Level:
In-depth technical skills in order to lead the team in that capacity
Strong verbal and written communication skills required
Must be a team contributor, with the ability to write automated test within
a group setting
Must possess ability to assure the production quality of projects with
without extensive oversight and communicate areas where quality is at risk
due to schedule constraints to facilitate informed business decisions
Must possess the problem solving skills needed within a new product
development setting |
